Book launch event for What They Don’t Teach You About Money

Thursday 16th March - 7pm - The Round Chapel, Hackney

Join Claer on her home turf in Hackney for the launch event of her first book, What They Don't Teach You About Money: Seven Habits to Unlock Financial Independence, where she will be interviewed by Bobby Seagull, the celebrity maths teacher and star of University Challenge.

Many of us have been learning money lessons the hard way during the cost of living crisis - but it often feels like the odds are stacked against us. The financial world is an intimidating place, and if we aspire to be 'good with money' it's hard to know where to start. Not any longer!

Claer is famed for her easy-to-understand explainers about money on ITV's Lorraine and LBC radio and has aimed this book at "someone who would never, ever think of buying a book about money." She has the simple aim of helping ordinary people gain control of their finances so they can spend less time worrying about money, and more time enjoying it.

Claer and Bobby will reveal their best habit-changing tips and money saving moves, exploring how our financial habits are formed in early childhood, and why money - and maths - provoke such strong emotional reactions.

Both authors will be taking part in a Q&A and book signing (Bobby's book The Life Changing Magic of Numbers will also be available to purchase on the night).

Pages of Hackney, the award-winning independent bookshop, is the organiser of this event and the link below will take you to the Pages event page.
